This morning, Deputy Chaun Williams participated in the 9/11 Tower Challenge, held at the Gila River Arena in Phoenix. Deputy Williams, along with hundreds of other first responders, recreated the 110 flights of stairs (2071 steps) climbed by New York City first responders during the attacks on the World Trade Center on this day 18 years ago. Deputy Williams participated representing Michael Cammarata, a 22 year old firefighter who died responding to the chaos of that day.
