UPDATE (10/10): DEATH INVESTIGATION- LAKE HAVASU CITY

The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are continuing our investigation into a deceased male located on the shoreline of a business in the 1300 block of McCulloch Blvd. early Saturday morning. We are continuing to reach out to the community for help identifying the deceased male. The deceased male was located fully clothed, wearing a blue George brand polo shirt (size large), a green colored undershirt, blue Wrangler carpenter style jeans (size 40 waist x30 length), a green belt, and blue Athletic Works men’s tennis shoes (size 10 1⁄2). The deceased had no personal property on his person at the time of recovery. We previously approximated the deceased’s age to be between 40-50 years old. After the autopsy was completed, his age has now been updated to be between 50-60 old and discovered the deceased wore dentures. DEATH INVESTIGATION- LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male subject located deceased on Saturday (10/5). At approximately 9:15 AM, deputies were called to a business in the 1300 block of McCulloch Blvd. in Lake Havasu City. The reporting party advised that he had located a male subject floating face down in between two rental boats, and the subject appeared to be deceased. Detectives responded to the scene and began their investigation, noting that the deceased was fully clothed with his shoes on. No obvious signs of trauma or foul play were observed during the investigation and no identification was located. The deceased is described as an asian male, 5’ 6” to 5’ 10” tall, approximately 200 lbs, dark greying hair, and is thought to be between 40-50 years old. The body was conveyed by the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office, who will perform an autopsy and determine a cause of death.

UPDATE: HUMAN REMIANS IDENTIFIED- LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Detectives have identified human remains located in the Lake Havasu City area on October 5, 2019. The remains were located in the desert area northeast of Corral Dr. in Lake Havasu City and conveyed by the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy and identification.

On Friday (10/18), detectives were notified that the remains were that of Theresa Lynn Murillo, 50 of Lake Havasu City. Murillo had been reported missing out of Las Vegas and was a known transient in the Lake Havasu City area. The cause of death is undetermined at this time, however no signs of trauma or foul play
were observed during the autopsy. Next of kin was notified. This investigation is ongoing.

HUMAN REMAINS LOCATED- LAKE HAVASU CITY
On Saturday (10/5) at approximately 1:30 PM, Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a desert area northeast of Corral Dr. in Lake Havasu City in reference to human remains found. The reporting party advised that he located the remains in a wash in the desert area near his residence and called law enforcement. Detectives responded to the scene and began their investigation. The remains were conveyed by the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office and identification of the deceased is pending further
investigation.
